Our reconstruction role

THE BIGGER PICTURE

From a damaged space to a coordinated reconstruction.

Metrospec Construction coordinates the reconstruction of residential and commercial interiors in Greater Montréal after the necessary cleanup, drying and remediation. The process starts by clarifying the condition of the property, the affected components and the work that remains. We then discuss the repair scope, material choices, access and sequencing with the property owner and, for an insured loss, the relevant insurance contacts. Reconstruction follows the agreed project scope, with newly discovered conditions discussed as they arise. A final review provides an opportunity to go through the completed work and outstanding items. If the loss has just happened, call us: emergency inquiries can be directed to Metrospec Cleaning.

Before you begin.

Can we call before the property is ready to rebuild?

Yes. Tell us what happened and what stage the property has reached. Emergency and restoration inquiries can be directed to Metrospec Cleaning, while reconstruction requirements can be discussed for the next stage.

How long does reconstruction take?

Timing depends on the affected areas, preparation, agreed scope, material availability and access. A useful schedule needs those project details; a general guide cannot provide a reliable completion date.

Who decides what the insurance covers?

Your insurer and adjuster assess the claim and applicable coverage. Metrospec Construction discusses and carries out the reconstruction within the agreed project scope. Clarify coverage, scope and payment arrangements with the relevant parties before authorizing work.

What if we want additional improvements?

Discuss improvements separately from the repairs associated with the loss. The scope, cost and effect on the sequence should be clarified before those additional items are included.

Let’s make the next step clear.

Tell us about the property, the affected areas and what has already been completed. We can discuss where reconstruction fits next.
