Who to contact
Metrospec Construction operates this website. For access, correction, consent or privacy concerns, contact the person responsible for the protection of personal information at privacy@metrospecconstruction.com or 514-333-2403. You can also write to 2650 Boulevard Pitfield, Saint-Laurent, QC H4S 1G9. Please identify your request as a privacy matter.
Information you provide
When you contact us by phone or email, you may provide your name, contact details, property address, project description, photographs, reports and insurance or adjuster contact information. Share only information relevant to your inquiry. Avoid sending identity documents, payment details or unrelated sensitive information by ordinary email unless a suitable method has been agreed.
Why information is used
Information is used to respond to inquiries, assess and organize reconstruction discussions, communicate about work, coordinate relevant project participants and administer the business relationship. Technical information may also be used for website operation, security, troubleshooting and understanding how visitors find and use the website.
Website technology and Google services
Website requests may generate technical records, such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and access times, in hosting or security logs. Google Analytics 4 (GA4), where enabled, measures website use through events and technical identifiers and may use cookies. The information collected depends on the configuration and visitor choices. Google Search Console reports how the site appears in Google Search, including impressions and clicks; it is distinct from on-site analytics. The Contact page embeds Google Maps. Loading that map connects your browser to Google, which may receive technical information and use cookies under its own policies.
Your choices online
You can review cookie permissions in your browser, remove stored cookies and use available browser privacy controls. These choices may affect third-party features and do not necessarily prevent all technical data transmission. Google provides information about its data practices and an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You may contact us directly by phone or email without using the embedded map.
Access, sharing and processing locations
Relevant information may be shared with personnel, service providers and project participants as needed for the purposes described, with appropriate authorization or another applicable basis. Project participants can include owners, authorized representatives, insurers, adjusters and trades involved in the agreed work. Hosting, email or Google services may process information outside Québec. Applicable privacy protections and requirements must be considered when such services are used. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.
Retention and protection
Information is retained according to the inquiry or project purpose and applicable contractual, accounting and legal requirements. Retention is not the same for every record. When information is no longer needed, it should be securely deleted, destroyed or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable requirements. Protection measures should reflect the sensitivity of the information and restrict access to those who need it. No website or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Access, correction and consent
You may request access to personal information held about you, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, or discuss withdrawal of consent where applicable. Identity verification may be needed before information is released or changed. Legal exceptions or retention obligations can limit a request, and withdrawing consent may affect services that depend on the information. Direct requests or complaints to the privacy contact above. You may also contact Québec’s Commission d’accès à l’information about your rights or a complaint.
Updates to this policy
This policy may change as the website, services or information practices evolve. The date shown identifies the latest revision. Contact the privacy contact if you have questions about how this policy applies to your information.
