OUR ROLE IN THE FILE

The rebuilding work, clearly defined.

Metrospec Construction works with property owners, insurers and adjusters on post-loss reconstruction in Greater Montréal. Our role concerns the permanent repair and rebuilding of affected residential and commercial interiors after the necessary cleanup, drying and remediation. We discuss the rooms, materials and finishes involved, the information already available and the decisions needed to define the project. Access, scheduling and changes to the proposed work should be coordinated with the relevant contacts. Coverage decisions remain with the insurer. If a file still needs emergency restoration, call us so the inquiry can be directed to Metrospec Cleaning before the reconstruction stage.

A SHARED WORKING PICTURE

Three conversations that shape the work.

01

Scope & conditions

Identify what needs rebuilding.

Discuss the affected spaces, materials removed during restoration and the proposed repairs. Flag outstanding preparation or assessments that could affect the reconstruction.

02

Contacts & decisions

Know who needs to be involved.

Identify the property owner, access contact and insurance representative. Clarify who authorizes the work and how proposed changes should be discussed.

03

Access & sequence

Plan for the actual property.

Discuss occupancy, material selections, connected repairs and scheduling constraints. The sequence should reflect the agreed scope and conditions at the site.

Questions from insurance professionals.

Do you work on residential and commercial files?

We discuss post-loss reconstruction for both residential and commercial interiors in Greater Montréal. Share the property type and affected areas so the project requirements can be reviewed.

Can we contact you before the scope is finalized?

Yes. Share the information available, the work already completed and the decisions still outstanding. The reconstruction scope and arrangements need to be agreed before work proceeds.

How are changes to the work handled?

Newly discovered conditions or proposed changes should be discussed with the relevant parties. Clarify their effect on scope, cost, approvals and scheduling before proceeding with the changed work.

Do you guarantee insurer approval or direct billing?

Coverage is determined by the insurer. Payment arrangements must be discussed for the individual file; no automatic approval or direct-billing arrangement is assumed.

Have a property file to discuss?

Start with the location, the loss and the current stage of the work.
